Great Ormond Street Hospital has been at the forefront of ground-breaking research for decades. Rarely in the public eye, their team of researchers have discovered life-saving cures and pioneering treatments for children with rare and complex diseases. In 2018 the GOSH children’s charity launched the Research Fund to both raise awareness and money.
The ‘We Believe’ launch campaign dramatised the importance of research and showed how intrinsic it is to saving the lives of children every day. We wanted our audience to see that it’s so much more than scientists in white coats hidden in labs. It’s for families whose lives have been transformed through their belief in the research carried out at GOSH.
The DRTV spot was at the very core of the campaign, using the patients whose lives had been changed by their belief in research. Surrounding this was digital and social communication, expanding the patients stories.
Leading to a Welcome Pack for donators which laid out the history of GOSH’s ground-breaking research and looked forward to the future breakthroughs.
